There is one question we get asked a lot:

QUESTION:
Why are our prices so low? ANSWER:
1) We own all our cottages, and never go through a letting agent, the mortgages are paid, so we have

less overheads.

2) We have no paid staff; John and Jean handle everything from booking to writing advertising copy; We manage and build our own website, do our own laundry, run our own page, and (apart from when we're away) do our own cleaning.

3) Our word of mouth, along with the brochure we print ourselves and this page, mean that we never have to pay to be in any magazines or glossy brochures, or even pay to promote a Facebook post - we simply do not use or need paid advertising.

4) John is a joiner and builder, meaning that we can do most of own maintenance.

5) Bedding is not included in the base price (although it can be added for just £5 per set)

Rather than charge the same as our staff-paying, agent using, advert-funding, competition, and pocketing the difference; we pass on these savings directly to you, allowing us to charge much, much less.

We have 4 town centre Quirky old worldly Fishermans cottages all close to lots of pubs bars restaurants cafe shops close to the quayside half way between the swing bridge & the beach
