We have free range guineafowl in the village that roost in the tree.
Did you know they actually fly?
I didn’t.
Here’s a video I’ve been trying to get for ages.
It’s going to be a hot one over the next couple of days.
Lyn is helping to keep the horses cool by making them ice pops with frozen apples and carrots.
What are you doing to keep cool?
What crazy weather we’ve been having. 18 degrees one week -1 the next!! It’s definitely keeping us on our toes.
I’ve been trying to get a good picture of the village guinea fowl for weeks now, but they are very quick, so I did a little video of them instead.
The are free range and live in the village. Don’t panic if you see them crossing the road, they’ve been in the village for years (I’m told around 10 years) and they are quite stree wise 😂😂
How lovely does our cottage look in the snow 😍
We’ve had quite a bit of snow this afternoon but I don’t think it will stick around.
We still currently have availability for February half term.

We are thinking of entering Duke into Britain’s got talent.
Do you think he’d get through?
😂
We have lots of wildlife around the farm, from all sorts of garden birds, squirrels, to a pair of buzzards (currently with 2 young) and then yesterday we spotted this little one.
It was a privilege to capture the tiny weasel and we’ve set up a camera to see if we can capture more images of her.
We’ve called her squishy.
