Congratulations to the Winkleigh Aunt Sally Team from all of us at Orchard Lakes. After the challenges presented by COVID the team has moved to The Seven Stars & have managed to play a few games at long last. The Stars are great hosts and a very enjoyable & victorious game was recently played against “the All Stars”.

Did you know that we feed our beautiful fish once a day with approx 8lbs of pellets? They are self breeding and when we introduced them to the lake they were around 5cm - we believe the largest one we’ve seen is a whopping 9kg! Come and stay with us during and share your favourite fishing photo with us!

Did you know from 1-31 August is ? Guests staying with us get access to our two fully stocked fishing lakes for the duration of their stay. Just bring your equipment, find a spot, sit back and chill!

Did you know that at Orchard Lakes we have our own honey bees. These are some of our hives in the orchard. We produce jars of our delicious natural honey for guests to buy when they visit us. We are all about protecting nature here and we feel that this is a really positive thing to do. 🐝🐝.

We Will Make Your Stay With Us An Unforgettable Experience!

Orchard Lakes - Winkleigh is willing to free up parts of the old orchard for “wild” camping.
Our golden rules are the standard ones for those experienced in this type of camping. Namely arrive late & leave early - remembering to leave no trace.
Ideally the site should be left so no one can tell you’ve ever been there. Initially pitches are available for one night but this can be negotiated as required.
