Join us on for a day of all things solo sailing. Aimed at canoeists who have a little experience and want to deepen their understanding, skills and confidence of this exciting side of canoeing.

Sails & poles provided as well as seat clamps for anyone who's boat isn't outfitted for sailing.

Day one of the CCF Royal Navy Whitewater Kayak Week and it was lovely to see that they had taken my recommendation on board and procured a fleet of .kayaks Machnos.

We spent the day on some core skills and ticking off a couple of modules of the intro to Whitewater Safety Award including some whitewater swimming, wading and assisting others.

Storm Ashley certainly made for a challenging weekend Whitewater Kayaking.

Thanks to my very understanding long term clients who really get that adaptation and flexibility are key to making sure we have safe and enjoyable days out.

Three days into our Canoe Expedition Training Course and we've had all types of weather, explored a variety of methods of travelling including rafting and sailing, undertaken a night navigation exercise, looked at equipment & packing and done a whole load of rescues.

More campcraft tomorrow with an overnight wild camp to put everything into practice.
