Due to the closure of Craigneuk Street between Robberhall Rd and Shields Rd, buses operating towards Hamilton will operate via Netherton Rd on journeys towards Hamilton.

⚠️ Service 251 - Delays⚠️
Due to roadworks at the Garrion Bridge, Service 251 is currently experiencing severe delays. At this stage we do not know when the roadworks will be completed.
Please allow extra time for your journey until further notice.

⚠️Service X1 diversion - Hillhouse UPDATE - Diversion still in use ⚠️
Due to roadworks in Clarkwell Road, the X1 will operate from Farm Road into Hillhouse Road then back on to normal route at Brankholm Brae. This diversion will be followed in both directions.
Clarkwell Road, Wellcroft Road, Thornhill Road and Fleming Way will not be served.
This diversion will be required until further notice.
We apologise to customers for any inconvenience caused by these works.

A duplicate journey from Glasgow Buchanan Bus Station to Hamilton on Service X1 will operate this afternoon, departing the bus station at 16:15.
The regular departures at 16:30, 17:30 and 18:30 will operate as normal.

Good news for Hamilton to Glasgow commuters this morning - as the train service remains disrupted, we will be operating an extra trip on the X1 as follows:

High Earnock, Davington Drive - 07:19
Fairhill, Burnbank Road - 0726
Hamilton Bus Station - 07:40
Buchanan Bus Stn - 08:10

This afternoon, we will be providing two duplicate trips on the X1 from Glasgow to Hamilton to assist with your commute home due to disruption with the trains. The extra buses will depart Buchanan Bus Station as follows:
16:15 - Buchanan Bus Stn to High Earnock
17:45 - Buchanan Bus Stn to Hillhouse

The regular timetabled trips will continue to depart Buchanan Bus Stn at 16:30, 17:30 and 18:30.

The trains are still distrupted due to Friday's storm, but the 41 is running as normal today between Lanark and Hamilton - running every hour, with the last trip from Hamilton at 18:15 and the last trip from Lanark at 19:15 (terminates at Wishaw).

Due to a significant amount of debris and fallen trees on the road network, we have taken the difficult decision not to reinstate services for the remainder of Friday evening.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused, but the safety of our staff and customers is our first priority.

Hopefully by tomorrow morning, the roads will be cleared and we can resume services as normal.

As the MET Office has now issued a red weather warning covering our operating area for Friday 24th January, we expect significant distuption to our services.
We are currently liaising with local authorities and will update customers later today. Please keep an eye on our social media channels.

Due to the closure of John Street in Larkhall, the bus will need to divert via Hareleeshill Road, Keir Hardie Road and Machan Road in both directions.
