We are looking forward to hosting Colin Smith 'Biggles' on Tuesday 3rd September at Woolacombe Village Hall. Colin will be talking about his new book Wings, but no Angel'. Colin has written about his father, Ken offering a personal account of one man's journey from HMS Victory to being an early recruit of the SAS/SBS. The book chronicles lived experiences in some of the most celebrated SAS battles of World War Two.

Our favourite Sunday stroll … around Morte Point … todays’ highlights include … clear blue sea, blue skies, 16 seals, vibrant purple heather, watching the boats (Ilfracombe Sea Safari and Ilfracombe Princess), belted Galloway cows, stunning views of our local beaches and coastline, birds of prey … the list goes on! It’s been an incredibly beautiful day in #woolacombe and #mortehoe! We enjoyed a fabulous walk around Morte Point this morning. The sea thrift is in full bloom and looking stunning! And the sea itself is crystal clear and such a gorgeous colour 😍
