Zanzibar - Like nowhere else from £1799 per person!

The Zanzibar Archipelago’s sat off the eastern coast of Africa, 20 miles into the Indian Ocean from mainland Tanzania. A lot of people think Zanzibar’s one big tropical island, but there are actually more than 40 spread throughout the entire archipelago. Here, island hopping’s not just a holiday pastime, it’s a way of life. You can get out and explore what each island has to offer, before returning to your hotel on the main island, Unguja.

Zanzibar’s landscapes are like a colouring book. White-sand beaches, thick green forests, sapphire mangrove swamps and flat grasslands are all within an hour’s drive of each other. Whatever way you look, there’ll be something to catch your eye. So bringing a fully charged camera is a must.

Before tourists got a sniff of what Zanzibar had to offer, the farming of spices was the largest industry on the islands. Four travel tips

I wanted to share with you this month just four holiday tips which I hope you find helpful! I’ve been a member of the Designer Travel team for over 14 years, work full time and love travel with a passion (you will know this if you have booked through your holiday with me!😊). Really lovely afternoon visiting Lindos. Well worth the visit if you are on holiday in Rhodes. Plus the hike of approx 30mins to the acropolis at the top of the hill. Stunning views reward you at the end!

As I get quite a few feelings of missing our holiday and time on Beyond, I thought I would share with you another short video that I took early morning by the pool one day. It has a really love outdoor space and nice to have the cabanas that you can hire for the day too. Great idea to hire when on a sea day and everyone is out in the sunshine. Apologies if I sound like a broken record - but if you have never been a cruise before and not sure it is for you, I promise if you sail on an Edge Series Celebrity ship, you will not be disappointed and will love it! Also you will wake up each morning in a new place which is so exciting exploring different places all on one holiday. 37 seconds time lapse video of leaving The Bay of Kotor last night. Cannot begin to tell you how beautiful it was and just that sailing away from Kotor, past Perast and then Lady Of The Rocks as we weaved through the fjords back out into the Adriatic Sea was just a memory I will never forget and is one of many highlights of this trip!

Woo hoo! Holiday time is here - please have a watch to find out where I am off to on our family summer holiday! I will be back in the office again from Monday 14th August! ☀️

Happy Easter!! 🐣🐣 Exciting times that we can now finally meet up with our friends or family, albeit it outside only. This has got me thinking about the idea of spending quality time together with your extended family or friends but doing it on holiday! I was feeling rather excited this morning when our 14yr old son finally returned to school!
