We have just completed an oak table top for Richard Jackson. By working closely with Mr. Jackson, we have designed a contemporary table top with curved long edges which establishes a dynamic conversational dining experience.

Scorched oak tailored table.

We have created a table you cannot damage. To create this unique finish, we set fire to the top with a blow torch. Then we wire brushed it, and waxed it.

If you put a hot pan on it, there is nothing to worry about, just get the blow torch out!

It is easier to maintain than oiled oak.

Its not often we get young men turning up at our door with a barrel of beer at 10am in the morning but Andrew Mason is not just any man. He is undertaking a Cask Challenge - 100 miles of running with a 55 kg keg on his back in aid of Natalie Kate Moss Trust www.nataliekatemoss.co.uk. The trust supports individuals who have suffered brain injury. We supported him with a great breakfast from The Fold Cafe and he took a rest in one of The Foal Yard's Fat Boy hammocks available from their shop. We would like to wish Andrew good luck with his challenge which finishes on Saturday at Harper Adams University.
