Not the test I had planned today at the Area Festival 🙈 it was a very big occasion for the little diva, and unfortunately just couldn’t cope with the top door…but that’s the reality of horses for you 🤦♀️ the trot work was quite reasonable but she was just too tense to get any collection needed for the canter work 😭 (had a lot of judge comments of ‘tactfully ridden’ 😂)

Huge occasion for the little diva, but looking and feeling amazing for 18yrs old, she held her own and got an amazing 4th place!! 🥰
Not our best performance at the regionals today, after 6 months off, Chamonix found the whole thing quite overwhelming and although we had a LOT of power she couldn’t quite relax so we had some costly mistakes in our inability to walk, but we throughly enjoyed ourselves and hopefully with a bit more time to put into training we can come back stronger this summer 🤞🤞
Well it was our pet plan area festival final today, I came out thinking we had done a reasonably nice test, no major mistakes but unfortunately the judges were not on our side today and marked us very low 😞 so back to training and hopefully next time we can smash it 💪🏻🤞
Back out at Vale View BD today with Shannon, really pleased with this one’s attitude today, she really doesn’t like indoor arenas but managed to settle well (apart from the odd spook🙄)and produce a couple of nice tests winning both her sections with one score being over 67.5% 😇

Great day out today at Port Royal BD, loved dancing to our music again…seems like forever since we rode this test, but gained over 71% which I’m thrilled with 😃 our second test was the medium qualifier which Cham finds quite difficult at the minute but she tried really hard and we came away with a qualifying score 🥳 roll on Nationals next week now #excited #dressagehorse #dressage #dressagetomusic

Had a fantastic day today at Arena Uk, working with Gaynor Colbourn on our freestyle to music, Gaynor was absolutely fabulous, working with us on a variety of different music choices, can’t wait for it to be worked on in the studio so we can get out and put it all together in a test 😍
Well we did it!!! First Advanced medium completed! 💪🏻 A first for me and for Shannon 🤩
The flying changes weren’t perfect..but we got through them 😂 (achieved a 6 for one of them) I couldn’t fault her attitude today, she tried so hard! We won our section aswell 😍
We won our medium test overall, with a score of just over 67.5%, the best she has achieved in while, which shows how much improvement she has made in her way of going, so proud of her 🤩
