So much love for Skiathos' Banana Beach that I thought I'd share a great budget accommodation option just 15 minute walk away🍌

📍Banana Beach, Skiathos

On the road from Koukounaries, continue South and the road will split in two: one end of the road leads to the sandy cove called banana because of its shape. It is an organized beach with fine sand and crystal-clear waters, offering a wide range of water sports.

The other end of the dirt road continues up to the little bay called Little Banana, a nudist beach separated from the banana beach with a huge rock. It is quieter than its neighbour, smaller, with fine sand and crystalline waters.

📍Es Cavallet - Ibiza

Es Cavallet was named as the first nudist beach in Ibiza back in 1978 and is a stunning sight to behold. One of the last remaining stretches of untouched natural coastline on the Cape Coast in South Africa. Situated adjacent to Llandundo, it is one of the Cape Peninsula's most inaccessible beaches and is well-known as an unofficial nudist beach.

This is a clean and tidy bay with patrols to guarantee a safe visit on Africas one and only nudist beach. Beware of the sun, with few shady places on the beach but lots of bushes inland to retreat. 🌴 If you're visiting make sure you get there early as parking is limited.

📍Hotel Club Jandia Princess, Fuertaventura

Located right by the beach this luxury All Inclusive hotel has a lovely large naturist pool area too. There was plenty of sun loungers around this sparkling swimming pool and some overlooking the beach as well.

The naturist area is not to heavily screened so you do not feel cut off from the rest of the hotel. You do not have to go up or down loads of steps to get to the beach from this hotel, it is just a sloping path in two directions to reach the sea.

If you take a walk past the Hotel Club Jandia Princess you then come across a beach café and a water sports hiring area. Just a little past this section of the beach there are plenty of naturist areas. Along this stretch there is several little rocky sections, which makes a nice area to sit and soak-up the heavenly freedom of being a naturist in this dreamlike location. If you require even more luxury, sun beds for naturist are available to hire near the beach café.

🌴 Magnolias Natura with its 28 bungalows is not a huge complex but ideal for a relaxed and quiet nudist vacation in Gran Canaria. Surrounded by plants, the nudist bungalow complex is well-kept and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful, and English is spoken at the reception as well as Spanish.

Life at Magnolias Natura takes place either on your private terrace or right by the pool. The 18m pool (heated in winter) is equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas and has a whirlpool bath. A shuttle bus stops in front of Magnolias Natura at various times daily to take you to the nudist beach in Maspalomas for free. In Playa del Inglés or Meloneras, about 5 km away, you will find stores, bars and restaurants. We recommend you to take a rental car. Restaurants and shopping centers are also in the near vicinity. But good bars, restaurants and shops are best reached by car.

📍Red Beach - Crete

Red Beach in Crete is about as secluded as it gets. Named after its dark red sand, it was recently dubbed one of the best n**e beaches in the world by the Travel Channel. The beach, which is situated in southern Crete near the town of Matala, is around 300 metres long and can be reached either by boat or on foot. It is around a 25-minute walk from Matala, but the path is reasonably steep and there’s also a scramble over rocks involved. However its beautifully clear waters and gorgeous surrounding caves make it worth the effort. If you’re planning to visit, remember to take refreshments along with you. Red Beach’s remote location means it isn’t the easiest place to get snacks from.

Jardin d'O is a private villa with 5 furnished apartments on the Caribbean island of Saint Martin. The French owners have furnished the apartments with much love.
