Happy 9 year work anniversary to me. When I launched my own travel business I didn’t quite realise that it really would suit me quite as well as it does. I love helping people, I love planning and organising and I absolutely love a luxury holiday and having a good time… so it’s actually the perfect job for me as I get to spend my time planning incredible holidays, crafting itineraries and recommending the best hotels and experiences for my clients (and trying them all out for myself.. I mean what’s better than a personal recommendation!) and making sure everything goes to plan- and when it doesn’t being able to help to fix it! I’m not going to lie there is LOTS of admin and work to do behind the scenes and there are AlWAYS challenges in the travel industry but after 9 years of planning some imcredible holidays I’ve now got an amazing team who help me behind the scenes. New York with teenagers.. here’s what happened! I ❤️ NYC

New York with teenagers.. this is what happened! I ❤️NYC We stayed 5 nights at @sohograndhotel and had an amazing time living the NYC dream- my kids are 14 & 12 and the perfect age to enjoy all the crazy experiences, the theater, the shopping, the food and all the instagrammable moments! We were lucky enough to visit: The Statue of Liberty- we did the @circlelinenyc express boat trip- 50 mins and just sailed around her. We went to the basketball at Madison square gardens to see @nyknicks, which was an absolute highlight- amazing experience. We saw a Broadway show, we did the @risenyofficial in time square which is a great new attraction that ends with an incredible flying movie experience. The summit @one_vanderbilt was my favourite! The views, the photos and the chilled glasses of rose on the outdoor terrace , watching the sunset to a cool DJ was so stunning! Central Park was beautiful and we had a 1 hour guide who pointed out all the famous spots and reeled off over 200 movies that have been filmed in the park- we loved it and fab photo opportunities. We shopped in soho, we walked down 5th avenue and saw the bright lights of Times Square. We ate pizza at @johnsofbleeckerstreet Japanese at @momoyasoho pancakes @sohodiner and more pizza at @pizzalovesemily in the west village and cocktails @sohograndhotel We had a brilliant time- I planned and pre booked everything we did before we arrived so we had an itinerary- it’s better to at least book a few things and then you have a plan as it can be quite overwhelming.
