How it started in April this year; after hurricane Beryl; today, after building up the stones again and a lot of weeding; tomorrow, new tropical storm drains going in, new sand being spread and the replanting of saved bougainvillea and maybe, new palms from old seeds.

Seasoning peppers warning! There are two types of seasoning pepper: the IGA kind, and the Food Fair kind. Last night, I chopped and deseeded the peppers for a little callaloo and pepper side dish with the rest whizzed into soup, and this morning my fingers are still burning! And burning hot!

Luckily I only had a small side, so it’s just my fingers burning!
