TUSHETI - TOURS 2024
After being bombarded with questions about whether there will be trips this year, I decided to speed up the publication of the dates a bit.
It will be intense with lots of meetings with locals, local culture and traditional cuisine in the most beautiful corner of the Georgian Caucasus.
So, if you are planning a trip to Georgia and dream of Tusheti, but you don't know how to organize transport or find someone to share the cost... Or you rent an off-road vehicle, even in the best rental company, but you have no experience, you are afraid, or you just want to relax - we have 2 offers for you to choose from, which surprised even me with their popularity last year. And on different dates, so you can choose them for your stay in Georgia!
🏞TUSZETIA 3 DAYS PRICE - EUR 280 per person 🟢
✅ Day 1 - early in the morning we leave in off-road trucks with our best, professional drivers from Tbilisi to Omalo with a break at the bazaar in Telavi to buy juicy fruit for a picnic on the Tushetian road - departure early in the morning, arrival in the afternoon. In the evening, we make khinkali together and feast with Tushet legends in the background.
We spend the night with in my friends guesthouse in Omalo
✅ - day 2 - we will take you to one of the most beautiful and culturally richest corners of our region and show you the meeting places of the elders near Ghele, the reconstructed fortified village of Dartlo, the old cemetery and charming corners of the shepherd's trails, we will take you for lunch to the best hostess in the valley. Then we will visit the remains of the Tushet prison and reach the last civilization on the trail towards Khevsureti. A lot of knowledge, meetings with our friends, tasting local cuisine, i.e. Tusheti from the inside with a Polish-speaking guide :).
For the night we return again to my friends in Omalo.
✅- Day 3 - we will visit our friends in Shenako (if there is a road), or we will visit one of the villages along the way, and then we will set off to the Abano Pass. In Kakheti we will stop for a wine tasting and a delicious, great lunch in a vineyard.

✅ on the third day - an additional day of stay in Tusheti with an additional overnight stay in an agritourism farm, which is at your disposal for rest, trekking on one of the many routes leaving from Omalo or for an additional trip:
👉Suggestion no. 1 - another beautiful valley to see - Gomecari with the village of Dochu located on a steep ridge, Beghela, the picturesquely located Dżwarboseli, to which we have to cross the river, and a wonderful lunch at a friendly hostess.
Price: 50 euro per person - with min. 4 people
👉Suggestion no. 2 - a horse trip under the supervision of horse guides speaking English/Polish, who will choose the route depending on the level of advancement of the group, time and lunch in a picturesque place. We also have adjustable helmets for rent on site. Required min. basics - free management of the horse, free riding min. in two gaits - walk and trot. For advanced groups, a more demanding route and speed.
Price: 65 euro per person - with min. 4 people
✅ on the fourth day, similarly to the previous program, visit to Shenako and wine tasting in a vineyard on the way to Tbilisi.

Moreover, throughout the Tushetian season, we organize transport from Tbilisi or Telavi to Omalo and from Shatila/Roshka to Juta (with an additional option to Truso) or Tbilisi for organized groups.
We also select people for combined transport, for people going further from Omalo to Shatili, Shatili - Juta/Shatili - Tbilisi, so from time to time I will send you information about the availability of places.
For trekking from Omalo to Shatila, we help arrange accommodation, tents, mats, camping stoves, freezers and horses for transporting luggage. And in Omalo we have gas for tourist stoves at attractive prices!!!
Even if you are not our guests, and you have any questions about the road, trails, culture, etc., feel free to write - as soon as I or my guides are within reach, we will try to reply as soon as possible :)

✅ Throughout the entire trip, you are accompanied by Polish/English-speaking guides with extensive knowledge and experience in the region and leading groups on European standard, but with a passion for Georgian culture.
✅ Horseback riding trips are held for people who have already mastered the basics of this sport, with helmets that we rent and under the guidance of a guide with a document confirming competence according to the Georgian Equestrian Association (me), or my colleagues who support groups with me to high standards of safety and knowledge on servicing qualified tourism.
