Oh, what an emotional rollercoaster last 24 hours have been for all of us in Georgia… so many beautiful images and videos of Georgian National team playing, winning, and people of Georgia celebrating bearing witness… with our own experiences melting into the happy, crazy boiling pot of fireworks, songs, screaming, crying, dancing…. and then there was this - Giorgi Mamardashvili, the goalkeeper on whose shoulders the fate of the game rested, hugging his mum… quintessential Georgia…

😍 Experience the Magic of Tbilisi's Cultural Scene! 🌟

So much is happening in Tbilisi’s culture scene! A really special « treat” of the week for us was the dress rehearsal of SAGALOBELI ballet staged for the Friends of the Georgian Ballet at the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre. Watching mystical and poetic ballet set to the
scores of Georgian folk music really felt like a journey into fairy land, the “Georgia of
my Dreams”.

The true highlight of the event for us was an impromptu masterclass in “keeping our smiles on and chins up” at the after-party by the Muse of the Ballet herself - Nina Ananiashvili - who never ceases to inspire us by her grace, her talent, and her dedication to the art of dance.

FINGERS CROSSED IT MAY BE THE TIME FOR US TO DUST AND POLISH OUR GOLDEN COMPASS AND FOR YOU TO START DREAMING ABOUT A NEW ADVENTURE IN GEORGIA!!! THE GEORGIAN GOVERNMENT HAS ANNOUNCED THE LIFTING OF SEVERAL CORONAVIRUS RESTRICTIONS, including: SKI RESORTS will open starting tomorrow, cable cars will start operations on March 8. The RESTAURANTS across Georgia will resume full service from the beginning of March. In the Black Sea resort town of Batumi restaurants will be opened on March 1, and from March 8 in the rest of Georgia. MUSEUMS AND LIBRARIES will be opened on March 1. THEATRES AND SPORTS CLUBS will be able to resume rehearsals on March 15, and fully resume activities (theatrical performances, sports competitions with spectator attendance) from April 1. Conferences and training sessions will be allowed again on March 1, and gyms will resume operations on March 15.
