A mostly crowd-funded hiking project is currently underway in Georgia. Famed for our beautiful mountain ranges, forests and valleys that make for a lifetime experience of hiking, Georgia may soon sport a hiking trail reaching all the way from the Western edge of the country to the Easternmost parts.

Founders hope project will become one of the world’s great hikes, revealing the fascinating cultures and unexplored natural wonders of the Caucasus

Built in 2011, the Batumi Alphabet Tower is finally fully open for visiting! The top of this monument to Georgian writing and heritage now houses a restaurant and a tourist information center. Another sight to see, especially now, when the 'Golden Season' for visiting the city begins!
