This summer we had an amazing 10-day tour in Georgia with our guests from Latvia 🇬🇪❤️🇱🇻
This group of friends enjoyed a tailored tour in Georgia together with an experienced guide Mikheil, spent some time at the sea coast, and visited National parks, Canyons, and Caves. Drove on the highest mountain passes, sometimes somewhat extreme, explored Vardzia cave town, and took a refreshing swim in mountain lakes and waterfalls. Together they explored off-the-beaten-track routes from Kutaisi to Khvamli mountain, and had a night stay at the winery, sampling historical wines. At the end of the trip, they visited Ushguli village in Svaneti and explored other villages in the region, hiked to Glacier, and took a horseriding tour to Schdugra waterfall. Thank you once again for exploring part of Georgia with us, we hope you all had a good time and took the greatest memories back home! Welcome back anytime! This "Tamada" statue of a toastmaster proves long-lasting toasting traditions in Georgia. The statue was found at the archeological site of Vani near Kutaisi and dates back to the 7th century BC. The statue from Colchis Kingdom is holding a drinking horn "khantsi", which is still used at Georgian supra today.

Tamada, the toastmaster, is still crucial to any feast, either a dinner of neighbors, or a bigger celebration, is chosen at the beginning of Supra, and is a leader of the feast.

Come to explore the remote villages of Tusheti & Khevsureti with Megobari Tours Georgia! The remote mountain region of Tusheti in northeastern Georgia is reachable through one of the most dangerous roads in the world, the Abano Pass, and is only open from late May to September. This hidden treasure of Georgia will reward its visitors with impressive mountain sceneries, diverse nature & hospitality, We suggest spending at least 3-4 days exploring Tusheti villages, stone defensive towers, fortresses, and nature watching. There are various duration and difficulty hiking routes, from day hikes to week-long routes. You can do the routes hiking, on a bicycle or horse riding.

Pshav-Khevsureti National Park in Eastern Georgia, distinguished with its interesting landscapes and Middle ages villages: Shatili, Mutso, Ardoti. We suggest spending at least 2-3 days in the region, hiking, to remote villages, visiting medieval fortresses and enjoying time in nature.

Join Megobari Tours Georgia on Wine & Culinary experiences! Georgian traditions of winemaking and long-lasting tasty dinners have quite a history, and traditions live today. We usually include culinary & wine tasting experiences in all multi-day tours.

We ensure that our guests would get to know Georgia through its delicious & rich cuisine. During our tours, we would stop at selected traditional restaurants and suggest the best meals and wines for our guests. On request, we will arrange exclusive gastronomical experiences or masterclasses with local families.

Georgia is home to more than 500 vine species, different climate zones, and rich soil,
