Congratulations to our latest batch of aerodrome controllers who officially begin their solo today. They have demonstrated resilience and hardwork throughout their training and have finally come out with flying colours. We wish them well in this next chapter of their career.

Our members participated at the just ended 33rd IFATCA Africa and Middle East Regional meeting in Mombasa. They joined colleagues within the region to review existing plans and discussed developmental strategies aimed at making air traffic within the region safer.

GHATCA is pleased to have organized another event to honour our Retired Air Traffic Control Officers (RATCO). The event which took place on the 11th of August 2022, was held in recognition of the selfless service of retired controllers who once served with commitment and dedication. We are very much grateful for their work and contributions to the advancement of our association and we continue to wish them a happy and fruitful retirement.

Communicating For Safety (CFS) is the aviation industry’s leading conference focusing on safety, technology and building relationships. The event focuses on the air traffic needs of all members of the aviation community.
