Dear Client,
Information reaching us through the media from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) of the United States is that, from now on all passengers on flight to the United States of America at overseas airports must show that all their electronic carry-on devices like laptops, cell phones, cameras etc… actually works by taking them out and turning them on before allowed boarding the airplane.
During the security examination officers may also ask that owners power up some their electronic devices. Powerless devices will not be permitted on-board the aircraft. Passengers carrying devices that won’t or can’t be turned on will go through additional screening. These are all due to preventive measures to counter terrorist threats against the United States. Passengers are informed that these searches might take longer than expected therefore are advised to report earlier to the airport to have enough time before to go through the searches before their flight.
