What's an identity?

An identity is the distinguishing character or personality of an individual. An identity makes you unique & recognisable.

The most important part of one's identity includes:- Personality traits, abilities, likes, dislikes, your belief system or moral code and the things that motivate you.

There are Key facets of a persons identity. These includes:- gender, social class, sexual orientation, race and ethnicity, religion, age and disability. All the aforementioned plays significant roles in determining how we understand and experience the world, as well as shaping the types of opportunities and challenges we face.

Can an identity be hidden?

NO PLEASE. An identity cannot be concealed regardless of how long one tries to. Be it Family identity, Associative identity, Egoic identity or Personal identity (which makes up the 4 aspects of identity).

GENTILITY IS ABSURD.

We live in a world created by God to be paradise and functional from inception. But, man thwarted that original plan.

From then henceforth, normal became archaic and abnormal embrassed as the norm. A world where your rights are trampled on while wearing "suit"; everyone avoids you when your face-cap is turned backwards and you wear a "crazy" jean.

A world that has become a jungle.
You either roar... or bleed.

Indeed, gentility is absurd.

When I finally got to Chizzy's gallery that evening, I was not only shattered from the series of meetings, unending emails to attend to and traffic that seems to be getting worse each day, but I was also gibbering about the state of the eastern security. I might not be living there but it is still my home. Outside the gallery, as I was trying to adjust my cloth and make sure I still have the perfect look I had in the morning, I saw Yemisi standing close to the entrance door. Later, i walked up to her, "Why are you looking lost and why aren't you having fun like everybody else?"

"I am not good with posh people. I was inside pretending to look at the paintings but ogling the dignitaries inside. Oh! I thought you loved art? "I love art but being here is just a whole feeling I can't explain. Thank God you're here, I'll feel more comfortable beside you".

We went in together and I tried to explain some arts that looked complex but I noticed she's more drawn to the simple paintings. I tried to explain to her that all the paintings are beautiful and they all tell different stories, all you need to do is pay attention to details and the artist must be very good. She shook her head and smiled, "It seems to me that good art is in the wallet of the beholder, I'll start appreciating these complexities when I have enough money, till then, simple paintings are the good art". "You know Rainbow Rowell said that "Art wasn’t supposed to look nice; it was supposed to make you feel something". You just have to learn to appreciate both the art and the artist.

"That reminds me, something is missing from the year plan you sent to me. You wrote about your goals and strategic ways to achieve them and it's really impressive but I didn't see anything like travelling, exploring new cultures. Are you even going to create time to relax?" "I thought of it, but that will happen mid-year if I'm able to fund it".

"Come on dear, it's either you plan to go or not to go. I was able to achieve all my travelling plans last year with deepi world. "Deepi world?" What is that? They are focused on four key sectors; Entertainment, Art, Tourism and Spirituality. With your budget, they can plan an unforgettable experience for you and you can even plan and save up. Wow! I'll check them out. What're their handles? . I'll tell you about my last trip with them on our way home. It was fulfilled and educative. "The Ghana Cocoa Board (Cocobod) and the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) have launched the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 to celebrate and promote the consumption of chocolate made in Ghana.

The event, which starts from 12th to 22nd February, 2022, under the theme: ‘Eat Chocolate, Stay Healthy, Grow Ghana’, and sub-themed ‘Our Chocolate, Our Health, Our Wealth’, is part of efforts to promote the domestic consumption of Ghana chocolate and other cocoa-based products."

Endowment:- Mental Wealth.

Africans has proven beyond all iotas of doubt that they remain "unchallenged" in all professions. This is as a result of their GOD given talents made visible in spheres of life. Most especially, seen during critical times because they use "deductive reasoning" to overcome challenges.

Today, my focus is on African Mothers who has been responsible in their homes, discharging their Motherly duties with affection despite the hurdles of life. I sat down today to ponder how and what gave our Mothers the wisdom that the meal "Rice" is most ideal for sunday's. hahahaha.

This has become a norm in almost all homes. Our Mothers with joy prepare this delicacy according to the resources made available by our Fathers without complaining and every member of the family eats happily including any visitor around.

There are varities of Rice delicacies. We have:-
* Plain/White Rice
* Coconut Rice
* Fried {Chicken, Pork, Pineapple} Rice
* Jollof Rice etc.
N:B Each variety has a special method of preparation.
