Your take on this

"I was giving my baby mama, Shaniqua Tompkîns $500k a year($40k per month) and she said it wasn't enough, so I took myself to côurt and the côurt issued that I should be giving her $6700." 50 Cent

"I dîdn't make money for women and no man should allow woman exploît them. My son's mother was just feeling entitled to my money . I was giving her $500k a year, but she was still expecting more. Then I decided to make her see that I was only doing her a favor. So I took myself to côurt and ręported myself for giving child support way above average. Then it was decided in court that I should only give her $6700 a month and I can't add a penny on that because she can also get a job. Men need to start fîghting against gender înequality too since men and women are all equal. After what she did to me, I decided that I shall never spend more than 50 Cents on a woman ever again." 50 Cent

No woman should depend on a man because everyone can work. Your man's money is not your money💯

Queen Nanny of the Maròons.
Born 1686: Ghana 🇬🇭
Dièd 1733/1750: Jamaica 🇯🇲

For over 30 years it is said she fòught and frèed over 800 enslaved fòlks on the island of Jamaica. There are many stories about her, it is said she was a queen in Ghana from the warri0r Ashanti tribe when she was càptured and brought to Jamaica 🇯🇲 where she later escàped and led an àrmed rev0lt against the Britišh Empire in the mountains and juñgles of Jamaica for two decades.

It is said she used güerilla warfare to fight the B.ritish who suffered great l0ss and later settled with a peace treaty to spare their men. She was said to also be a powerful spiritùal vòodoo priestess who would use her powers to shield her fighters from the attàcks of the Britišh.

One Britišh òfficer who was lucky to sùrvived her encounter described her as being small, muscular and strong with intense eyes. She wore a girdle with at least 10 different combat knivès. Queen Nanny is Jamaica's only female hero and there are still Maròons living in Jamaica today.

Join me let learn more about the industrial city located on - LAGOON N'DOUPE ("the lagoon in hot water"),

Black Travel Network - Africa favorite activity anytime we lead groups here, is to join locals to experience the popular Boat transportation system to access other interesting communities within this Business city of Abidjan.

Would you agree with me that When you first come in contact with strangers and you don't wish to give them audience to their advances gives that stranger alot to ponder on, well let me blow your mind, such act let to the name ABIDJAN, interesting right.

IF you wish to know more on this during our visit there plus other footages just join, like or subscribe to our pages via

When the first colonists asked native women the name of the place, the women misunderstood and replied “T'chan m'bi djan“: “I've just been cutting leaves“. Thus the name Abidjan.

But the french refered to them Cote d'Ivoire. a republic in western Africa on the Gulf of Guinea; same as the English called my home town Oguaa as Carbo Corso ( town situated along the short coast hence the name Cape Coast.)

One interesting scene is seeing Commuters in Ivory Coast's bustling commercial capital Abidjan are turning to waterways to escape worsening road traffic, with growing boat fleets offering faster and cheaper trips across the lagoon.

About 100,000 people per day now travel by water in Abidjan, nearly half in traditional boats. The state wants to see 300,000 travellers per day in the next five years and to have 200 modern boats in operation, compared to about 50 now, he said.

Almost every neighbourhood in the city of five million is on the water, presenting an attractive alternative.

🇬🇭 Ghana to decide on nuclear power plant vendor by the end of 2024

The Ministry of Energy has announced that Ghana will, by the end of 2024, select a vendor for the establishment of the country’s first nuclear power plant, expected to be operational by 2030.

The nuclear plant project is in phase two of the nuclear power programme, and by 2030 or 2032, we would have advanced strongly towards meeting net zero and meeting energy transition goals.

The country had developed pipeline projects, such as 2,000 megawatts of solar and wind energy, to attract the required financing from various investors.

Ghana is looking at a large reactor (1,000-1,200 megawatts) and a small modular reactor (about 300 megawatts) for its nuclear power plant, which is to serve as a clean baseload for the country’s industrialisation agenda.

The plant is to produce affordable electricity in a safe and environmentally friendly manner for socio-economic development, and in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) seven and 13.

"Africans are the kindest and most sincere people I've ever been around. When you go to Africa, you've gotta go to Ghana first, then you need to go to Botswana because Botswana is the second richest diamond producer in the world. Then you've gotta go to Johannesburg and then once you see that, you'll understand who we are. Africans didn't ste@l anything from Americans but we stol€ from them. They keep saying Burna Boy stol€ from Americans but the truth is, Americans stol€ from Burna Boy. Africans have got the beats, rhythm, soul, and hard work. We Americans draw inspiration from Africans cuz they've got it all." - Steve Harvey

Nigerian History

Oba Eweka II - He was the Oba of Benin from 1914 to 1933. He replaced his father, Oba Ovonramwen who dièd in exile in Calabar after he was was depośed by the British following the British punitive expedition in Benin City in 1897. During his reign, Oba Eweka II rebuilt the royal compound destr0yed and loòted by the British and reestablished the traditional structure of the kingdom. The royal coral regalia of Ovonramwen seized by the Britiśh was returned. Eweka II also restored the craft guilds, commissioning objects to replace those loòted by the British, and started the Benin Arts and Crafts School.

Kumasi International Airport to be named after Asantehene Agyeman Prempeh I. So the airport will be called "PREMPEH I INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT".

Even though we advocated for the Airport to be named after the Warrior Queen, Nana Yaa Asantewaa. But nananom in their wisdom have chosen to rename the Kumasi Airport after Asantehene Prempeh I.

It must be noted that, Otumfuo Prempeh I is the first Asantehene to cross the ocean. He is the Asante King who embarks on a deadly voyage to Seychelles Island to save his kingdom from further destruction. This year 2024 is exactly 100 years since Nana Prempeh I returned home from Seychelles Island.

It's therefore not surprising that the International Airport will be named after the King who first embarks on an international journey. The first Asantehene to cross the sea in 1896.

For a monumental project and the second-largest international airport in Ghana to be named after him is a step in the right direction. The name alone will boost tourism in the kingdom. Great and awesome idea.

Piawwwwwwwww!!!

This is Gyamfi House, one of the 17 houses in Achimota School, formerly Called the Prince of Wales College.

Gyamfi House was named after a former student, Gyamfi, a member of the Asante royal family who passed away while schooling at Achimota School, the oldest colonial school in Ghana.

One of the consequences of the death of the Asante Prince was that the Asante Kingdom decided to build a school of the same standard closer to home. The management of the school decided to name one of their house in memory of the late Prince, Gyamfi.

Gyamfi House is one of the boys' houses in the Eastern compound. It sits north-east of Guggisberg House and adjacent to Cadbury House, The House's colour is emerald green.

Asantehene Prempeh II visited the Achimota School during his visit to Accra as a Special Guest of Honour at the inaugural ceremony of the Burns Constitution in 1946. He planted a tree to cement the ties between the Achimota School and the Asante Kingdom. 3 years later Prempeh College and Kumasi College of Technology (now KNUST) were birthed.

Notable Asantes who attended Achimota School.

•Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings - Former First Lady and the first Female Presidential candidate in Ghana.

•Nana (Prof) Susubribi Krobea Asante - Asokore Manhene.

•Nana Wiafe Akenten II - Offinsohene (1966-1993).
