MEET THE WIFE AND DAUGHTER OF HRH NANA ANSAH KWAO IV
Gifty Anti is a Ghanaian journalist and broadcaster. She was born on January 23,1970. She is the host of the Standpoint Archived 2021-05-26 at the Wayback Machine programme; which discusses issues affecting women on Ghana Television. Her show, The Standpoint, is not only aired on national television but also ABN TV in the UK. It is one of the most-watched shows in the country, but her impact in empowering young girls is what she is most celebrated for. As a result, she has been a true source of inspiration for millions of women from around the world.
Oheneyere Gifty Anti is the CEO of GDA Media. She is a multiple award-winning broadcast journalist and a well-respected motivational speaker in Africa and around the world. Oheneyere is the President and founder of the Girl in Need Foundation and the Awo Dansoa Reading Project.
Gifty is a native of Cape Coast in the Central Region but was born and bred in Tema, the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. Due to economic hardship, she hawked and engaged in carpentry works to earn a living.
Gifty is married to Nana Ansah Kwao IV, Chief of Akwamu Adumasa. Their Marriage ceremony happened at the Trinity Baptist Church on the 25th October, 2015. She gave birth to her first child on 11 August, 2017. Their daughter, Nyame Anuonyam, is such a pride of hers and expresses so much joy in having a miracle child, even at her age.
She had receive honours and a new title. The new title FBI was conferred on her after she was awarded a Fellowship of the Boardroom Institute, FBI, by the Accra Business school. She is called Oheneyere FBI Dr Gifty Anti.
EDUCATION
Gifty Anti had her basic education at Tema community 8 "Number 1" Basic School. She then proceeded to Mfantsiman Girls Secondary School where she served as an entertainment prefect. She holds a Diploma in Journalism from the Ghana Institute of Journalism, which she served as Women’s Commissioner, and a Masters Degree in International Journalism from City University, London.
CAREER
Mrs. Anti began her media career as an intern at the Ghana News Agency, then moved on to the Ghanaian Times as an intern. She later worked as an intern at the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), where she was also offered the option to do her national service.
Gifty landed her first job as a Floor Manager at GTV. She later became a TV presenter, coach, gender advocate and a feminist. She is currently the Chief Executive Officer of GDA Concept and host of Stand Point, a talk show about women's issues.
She worked at the Ghanaian Times (a Ghanaian owned newspaper) as she received mentorship from Liz Hayfron.
In 2019, she launched her book titled "A Bit Of Me", the book reached number one on Amazon after one week of publication.

THE THREE OAK FESTIVAL OF AKWAMU ADUMASA
The Akwamu - Adumasa Three Oak Festival is celebrated annually by the beautiful people of Akwamu Adumasa in the Asuogyaman district of the Eastern Region and has been observed for over 150 years now. Although it has not enjoyed much national publicity, the beautiful rich cultural display and the spirit of love and progress that characterizes the festival and are expressed by the various clans and exhibited amongst families and surrounding towns makes it a delight to experience.
Motivated by these and a passion to even make it better, the Chief, Nana Ansah Kwao IV and his royal subjects have outlined some activities that are geared towards exposing these rich cultural values to the entire nation and the international community at large. The most popular amongst these activities is the well talked about "Kokonte Party".
The vision of the Festival is to first and foremost, promote unity amongst families in the town, to expose the rich cultural practices of the town to the good people of Ghana, increase tourist attraction to the town leading to job creation and in essence, the economic empowerment of the people.
The 2022 edition of the Festival was on the theme; Uniting For Development – Adumasa For Christ.
The goal is to educate the people on the benefits of unity using Christ as an example and how unity can accelerate development in the “little Republic”.

MEET THE KING OF AKWAMU ADUMASA
Nana Ansah Kwao IV is the current Chief of Akwamu Adumasa, in the Eastern Region. He ascended the stool in the year 2010 and his reign has brought significant positive changes in the town.
Amongst his numerous projects are a modern palace which is completed and a modern school complex which is currently at the completion stage. The school is set to become the most beautiful primary school in Eastern region.
He has also facilitated the retraining of all teachers in Adumasa in Jolly Phonics, a modern way of teaching, which has been adopted by the District Education Service in Asugyaman. This technique has been reported to have drastically improved reading amongst the pupils in the district.
As part of his plans to make Adumasa a modern town, he has had the town of Adumasa professionally planned with a detailed layout with an ongoing major tree planting project that is targeted at greening the entire town. And has also launched a project to build an ultramodern Community Centre, "the Oaks Garden" for his people.
Nana, holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing with an extensive experience in the auto industry, having worked with top brands like Mercedes, Audi, VW, Car Super Market and Peugeot in U.K.
As an authority, he has also successfully undertaken several training sessions for other sales people in advanced selling techniques.
He is currently the host 2 radio shows with a third and fourth to be aired soon. One of his radio shows, That’s My opinion, which is aired on Joy 99.7 FM, was nominated by CIMG as radio talk show of the year in 2015 and won the ‘RTP Radio Talk Show of Year’ in 2016 after being nominated for three years running.
He used to the host of the t.v. talk show “PmExpress” on Multi TV. The show has featured very important personalities like former president John Agyekum Kuffour, Paul Boateng, British parliamentarian, Prof Agyeman Badu Akosa and host of other top personalities.
Nana is married to Oheneyere Awo Dansoa, formerly Gifty Anti who also hosts the award winning t.v. show, “The Stand Point” which is aired on GTV.
