Ecotourism program in Northern Region of Ghana, close to Bolgatanga.

This community based guesthouse located in a herbal forest is the centre of the ecotourism program provided in the village. There are workshops like herbal tours, community tours, fishing, djembe drumming and making shea butter with the women of the village. In this peaceful natural environment you can relax in privacy and connect with local people in a friendly and respectful manner. There's also

a library for the kids, a fish pond and organic garden and there are more plans to develop in this inspiring community.

As you can see in the attached video, the bulldozer is doing an amazing job! We just got the opportunity to let it work for another day, but we do need some extra money for it... Next to that, we have to rent a truck to move stones to strengthen the dam.

BIG NEWS! The bulldozer, which we rented for 5 days with help from several investors, has arrived in Karimenga! It will be used to deepen the lake, and strengthen the dam. Goal: water in the dry season.

The new ICT center is almost ready. With the knowledge and help of professionals from Burkina Faso we were able to put up this structure in a short time. Thanks to the community and their hard work we can make great things happen!
