ITGS Community Partnerships 🇬🇭

This morning's meeting was a success. We were able to establish a partnership with the Berase AME Zion Basic School.

The welcome we received from the administration, staff, and students was heartfelt. The gratitude the students showed for the items they received made me smile on the inside.

This school is located just outside of Cape Coast in the KEA District. There are 470 students total. The needs for the school ranges from shoes to structural.

During our visit we found out that the kindergarteners do not have a building. They are currently using the Canteen as a classroom.

We also discovered that there were many who did not have shoes or the shoes they had didn't fit properly. Donations given we were able to assure that 42 students had new shoes along with a few staff.

We were also able to identify the exact and most crucial needs for the school with the hopes of being able to provide long-lasting solutions.

We appreciate the level of transparency provided to us. This allows us to be able to tackle those specific needs instead of providing Band-Aid fixes.

I am putting this out here to bring awareness and also to inform all of my followers, I will be asking you to assist with this project in any way that you can. 🥰
