My blue eyed boy at the Mampong School for the Deaf. The school was founded by Andrew Foster, an African American some 50 years ago. We did a community tour that consists of a tour of the laribanga mosque,which is one of the oldest mosque in Ghana west Africa,then we proceeded to the mognori Eco Village,for a canoe Safari, village walk and a Shea butter processing lessons.

We did a two hours walking Safari this Morning From 7am-9am at the Mole National Park,we saw some elephants, warthogs, Water buck,bush buck,kob from the antilop family,we also saw some monkeys,baboons and some green monkeys,e.t.c.

It was very peaceful and healthy.

The Wechiau Community Hippo Sanctuary (WCHS) is a unique community-based project, protecting and preserving the wildlife and the environment of a 40km stretch of the Black Volta River in Ghana's Upper West Region. The river is home to one of the two remaining hippopotamus populations in Ghana, and was created into a Sanctuary by local chiefs in 1999. Since then, the project has had marked success in providing Ghanian and International tourists with a unique and unusual eco-travel experience.
