SUMMER VOLUNTEER/INTERNSHIP PROJECTS IN GHANA!
TEACHING PROJECT
Our teaching programme aims to provide sustainable educational support within disadvantaged schools and communities to reduce inequality in education. Through our volunteers, we aim to empower underprivileged students by improving their future prospects and equipping them with the skills needed to actively engage in a multi-national community.
ROLE OF TEACHING VOLUNTEERS
The main role is to be a classroom assistant, although some volunteers choose to teach their own class. The children study various subjects including Physical Education (Coaching), ICT, Science, English etc
REGULAR ACTIONS TO HELP ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS.

CARE PROJECT
our care placement provides a chance for volunteers of all ages and experience levels to really make a difference to working with children at orphanage or day care centres in Koforidua.
ROLE OF CARE VOLUNTEER!
Youngest Children
1. Help dress and feed the youngest children
2. Play and sing song with youngest children
3. Teach older children numbers, colors, shapes( maybe teach them some Italian songs)
4. Assist children who require extra attention.
5. Lead educational games and exercise
MEDICINE &HEALTH CARE PROJECT
For pre-nursing, nursing, pre-med, medicine, midwifery, paramedic student or a professional. This volunteer/internship position provides hands-on practical exposure to medicine and health care in Hospitals and Clinics in Ghana. As a volunteer/intern you will have the chance to observe and work in various departments alongside experienced local doctors and nurses.
YOUR ROLE: observing experienced local Doctors and Nurses and performing routine tasks in various departments at hospital, clinics. You will have the opportunity to learn about various tropical conditions and treatments. You will also take part in school and community outreach to do wound dressing and give talk on basic but important health education such tooth brushing, adolescent Reproductive Health education, assist in counselling etc
HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Participants pay project fee depending on the duration of placement and the project type to cover their accommodation, food (breakfast,Snacks, Dinner). The amount also covers all utilities, office use (WiFi) placement fees, airport pick ups and drop off. Some of the fee also funds our medical outreach in schools and orphanages, provide food for donations, organise dirty days (community painting) and provides health insurance for 10 needy people (mostly women and children) etc.
