On Thursday, June 2, the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II sent a high profile delegation of Chiefs and people, led by Kuntenasemanhene Ogyeaboɔ Amankwaa Adunan II, to represent Asantehene, and Asanteman in Cote d'Ivoire to mourn with Nana Henri Konan (Kwabena) Bedie, Former President of Cote d'Ivoire on the death of his beloved brother Nanan Bédié Koffi Marcelin.

As well as to mourn with the Baoule Royals of Daoukro, Cote d'Ivoire, who trace their ancestry from Nsuta, Asante (Ghana).
