HAJJ BOARD AND GHANA HAJJ
AGENTS ASSOCIATION.
CANCELLATION OF HAJJ 2021,
FOR INTERNATIONAL PLIGRIMS.
At an extraordinary meeting held at the Hajj Village, Accra , on June 20, 2021, the Hajj Board, and the Ghana Hajj agent's Association, have discussed and agreed upon the following.
In light of the June 12, 2021 announcement by the Saudi Government: Ministry of Hajj and Ummrah Affairs, that Hajj 2021 is cancelled for International pilgrims, we have collective, per our last joint communique, met to agree upon the following:
1) Pilgrims who paid directly to the Hajj Board and wish to receive a refund of their Hajj fees ( for 2020 payments ), must apply to the Hajj Board for their refund to be paid expeditiously.
2) Pilgrims who, paid via their agents and wish to receive a refund of their Hajj fees ( for 2020 payments), must apply to the Hajj Board for their 2020 Hajj fee payments to be paid expeditiously.
3) , Pilgrims who wish to retain their Hajj fee deposits with the Hajj Board ( for 2020 Hajj), will be exempted from paying any increment in the Hajj fare for 2022.
4) The Hajj Board will ensure , or via their agents for 2020 Hajj, will be exempted from paying any increment in The Hajj fare for 2020.
The Hajj Board will ensure, that all monies paid by pilgrims directly to the Board , of via their agents for 2020 Hajj, will be full per the above arrangements.
