An adult elephant can consume up to 300 pounds of food in a single day. Known scientifically as Loxodonta Africana. Elephants have average life span of up to 70 years and weigh around 2.5 to 7 tons.

How many elephants do you want to see in a day?
A 2019 (January - April) Forestry commission / Wildlife division research estimated the elephant population of Mole National Park to be about 436, buffalos 1,392.
About 126 warthogs, 253 water bucks, 337 kobs, 82 bush bucks and 2,813 hartebeests. Birds, baboons, monkeys and several other animals species plants exist in this protected area.
Mole National Park is on the list of possibly becoming one of UNESCO's world heritage site in Ghana.
