Canoeing to Nzulezu, walking around the village, looking to way of their life, very interesting traditional houses on stilts, canoeing to the jungle, where gin is destilated, is really unforgetable experience.
Nzulezu stilt settlement is a unique lacustrine habitation achieved by a harmony of forces of nature to meet man's needs resulting in a settlement of outstanding value.
The spectacular scenery of stilt propped water settlement of Nzulezu built on lake Tadane located in the Jomoro District in the Western Region of Ghana stands out as a magnificent interplay between man and his environment. Nzulezu is an Nzema word meaning "surface of water."

Elmina is one of those “mustn't miss” towns in Ghana 🇬🇭 (West Africa). Much of this town's fascination lies in the juxtaposition of its grandiose European architecture and modest African village roots. A short distance from Cape Coast along a palm fringed avenue, Elmina has a unique setting and atmosphere. A fishing town with a lagoon lined with smoke houses, the settlement is dominated by two historic forts, the oldest and biggest being that of the 15th century Elmina Castle,, but also worth the climb is that of St. Jago (Fort coenraadsburg) overlooking the city.
Most singular of all are the Posuban shrines, with vivid sculptures, posted at different points of the city, representing the heart of each neighbourhood. Last but not least, Elmina is an excellent venue to visit coffin makers: in this part of Ghana it is typical for people to be given "thematic tombs" with designs of all types.
However for all its charm, there is little more enjoyable than being in Elmina shortly before sunset and watching the colorful fishing boats coming into the mouth of the estuary and soak up the sounds of the dusk.

We had a nice time exploring the sandy orange beach at cape coast (Central Region, Ghana) as we voyage through Aggrey Memorial A.M.E Zion Senior High School with their two campuses connected by a footbridge over a Major Highway, Our visit to the slave dungeons in the Cape Coast castle was a solemn reminder of a time in history, We did the 40 meter high canopy walk at the Kakum National Park. It was great sight to see the fishermen chant behind the 537 year old Elmina castle (the largest slave port & the oldest European building in Sub-Saharan Africa ), We moved to the western Region of Ghana to see the over 400 year old stilt village on water with its serene nature and beautiful ambiance (Nzulezu) and finally got to one of the most beautiful beaches in Africa (Beyin Beach Resort). 🇬🇭
