WHAT ARE YOU DOING THIS SUMMER???
Ghana is a fantastic place to spend time volunteering with children in orphanages, and day care centers. Ghana in West Africa is a country of rich natural resources and ancient traditions. However, an ever-growing disparity between rich and poor has resulted in a large percentage of the population still living in poverty. Poor health and sanitation have contributed to the low life expectancy and high infant mortality rates. Problems such as violent methods of discipline, child labor, and poor education means that childhood in Ghana can be a real struggle, which is why our volunteer projects are so important.
Volunteer care work in Ghana is an ideal way to get involved and help improve the welfare of the children while add to their resume. You can contribute toward this important development work during a gap year or career break, or as a worthwhile way to spend a vacation. Volunteers need no qualifications nor experience but Energy, passion, and commitment to the work at hand.
We have various volunteer options ranging from Community Projects, Healthcare, General Care, Help Orphans, School Based Programs, Teaching, Parent Education, with CAMPING EVENTS and TOURISM.Volunteers can also work with our partner challenging HIV/AIDS Project with Ghana AIDS COMMISSION.
JOINING A VIBRANT VOLUNTEER COMMUNITY IN GHANA You choosing to go overseas on NMH Projects' programs, you are joining a community of fellow Volunteers, Campers, Tourist and local people in developing country(Ghana) - working hard, traveling, exploring and having a good time under a sprue tree while achieving worthwhile goals.
