Our Story

Crosstrain was set up in 2012 by Kojo Adomakoh, to address the two most common challenges people face in starting or sustaining a fitness programme; namely lack of time and lack of motivation. By taking our fitness equipment directly to, or closer to people, they have informed us about how much more convenient our service is compared to having to drive through traffic across town to a gym. In addition we uniquely offer Group Personalised Training for up to 10 people per class size. Our clients tell us that the enthusiasm of people within the group motivates them to be more committed and determined to staying with the programme and so they can achieve their fitness goals. A warm and friendly team spirit exists in all our classes. Our training methodology (including regular monitoring of fitness levels) is another area where we distinguish ourselves within the fitness industry, and coupled with the wide variety of training routines we execute both using our gym equipment and the open spaces we set up in, our clients have informed us that this inspires them to attend every class they subscribe to on a monthly basis. Apart from offering the fitness experience, we have also put in place a monthly health screening programme. We have also engaged a consultant dietician from one of Ghana's leading hospitals. This results in a far more comprehensive offering for our clients, and is specifically designed to make our clients accountable as the results are clear concerning their extent of their discipline in approaching health and fitness. Finally, high levels of client service are fundamental requirement at Crosstrain. We don't joke with client service. That's why we limit class sizes to 10 athletes. This translates into a ratio of 1 Crosstrain staff to 3 clients. In this way we can show our clients how much we value them and their decision to choose Crosstrain as their preferred fitness provider.
