Ten Graduate Assistantships Fully Funded in The Department of Plant Pathology at University of Florida, Gainesville FL.

To qualify for the application process you must have the following:
•A background in plant pathology, biology, agronomy or other life science
•A faculty member willing to accept and financially support you within his/her research program.
•International Applicants only: An English language competency exam score matching or higher than the following scores (only one is required)
◦TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language): 550 (paper test); 80 (internet based)
◦IELTS (International English Language Testing System): 6
◦MELAB (Michigan English Language Assessment Battery): 77
Note: International applicants from the countries below are exempt from the English proficiency requirement.
Funding
Funding for graduate students is competitive and usually comes in the form of an Assistantship or Fellowship. Usually these are awarded to students intending to begin their programs in the Fall semester.
To receive full consideration for funding, the Department strongly encourages applicants to submit their full application materials before December 1 for Fall semester admission or September 1 for Spring semester admission.

Welcome to the website of the X-ray Cancer Imaging and Therapy Experimental (XCITE) Lab at the University of Victoria. We investigate novel x-ray imaging modalities and x-ray radiation therapy techniques.

Four fully funded Ph.D. positions are open in my research group at the Colorado School of Mines.

Responsibilities:
Research for the 4 vacant positions includes one of the following projects:

1. Machine Learning aided prediction of multiphase fluid flow in Porous media
2. Design and Statistical Analysis of a Flowline Risk Assessment Model
3. Charge-density-based ML framework for efficient exploration and property predictions in the large phase space of concentrated materials
4. Granular materials (computational CFD-DEM and grain-based experiments)

Qualifications:
We are seeking prospective students who meet the following criteria:

- Hold a B.S. and M.S. degree in either Petroleum, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
- Have a thorough knowledge and expertise in the Python programming language.
- Demonstrate proficiency in machine learning techniques.
- Knowledge of computational fluid dynamics principles.
