Green season is a beautiful time for hiking. Ashleigh was lucky enough to see all 4 of the primates that we could hope to find! Baboons, Green Vervet, Red Colobus and Patas monkeys, plus monitor lizards and an olive grass snake. For the birders, the stars were an African Finfoot, Violet Turaco, some kind of Ibis and lots of Eagle looking things.

Photo taken on a rubbish smartphone but you might make out an EGYPTIAN PLOVER. Surprised to see him here in Lamin Koto at this time of year, but people tell me it's not so unusual.

Hi everyone and thanks for your recent enquiries.
Just to let you all know, The Fula Princess doesn't operate in the rainy season. We look forward to welcoming you onboard again from 15th October.
In the meantime, the lodges are still open, the river's still beautiful, the chimps and hippos are still here and you're always sure of a warm welcome in Janjanbureh.
