1 BICYCLE TOUR.
HALF DAY TOUR
A half day tour to the monkey park, famous crocodile pool and the craft market in Bakau then a lunch break at one of the local restaurants in Bakau.
2 CITY TOUR.
HALF DAY TOUR
Visit to the capital city BANJUL and the surroundings including the Arch 22 in the entrance of the City to have a very good view over the capital city BANJUL and visit to the national museum and the Albert market . We will drive to SERREKUNDA to see the BATICK and TIE& DYE local factory. We end our visit to a local recycling factory where you will have the opportunity to see how empty aluminium can drink and all other aluminium can be turned into cooking materials .
3 SIGHTSEEING
HALF DAY TOUR
We start in the morning at the SERREKUNDA market the biggest town in the Gambia to see the daily life of the Gambia. The market is where everything and anything can be sold. One of the most colourful markets in Africa. We drive for half an hour to one hour depending on the traffic to go to lamin lodge to have a tea break and a boat trip in the creeks of lamin for an hour to see the beauty of the river Gambia with lots of birds and oysters in the mangroves. We will see how the oysters are collected and processed in to food and the cells in to many uses including local cements,paints and chicken food.
4 LAZY DAY TOUR
FULL DAY TOUR
The name of the tour speaks for itself.
A half an hour drive to the Denton bridge in BANJUL to go on board a special spacious Gambian River craft. Cruise from the oyster creek along the river Gambia to the wider park of the Gambia river with stops for fishing, eating, drinking and swimming if you like.
5 ROOTS TOUR.
FULL DAY TOUR
An early pickup from your hotel to catch the early ferry in BANJUL. Crossing with the ferry will be a very good experience for anyone new . It is a 45 minutes to an hour trip from BANJUL to BARRA the north bank where we have our transport waiting to drive for 45 minutes to go see the slave museum and a 20 minutes boat trip to the slave island to see the places where the slaves were kept before cruising to the unknown world for enslavement. We come back to the village for a lunch break and see a few more places including the freedom flag pole.
6 FATHALA WILDLIFE.(SENEGAL).
FUll DAY TOUR.
An early morning pickup to BANJUL for the ferry crossing to BARRA. We have the open jeep arranged and waiting for your arrival on the north. A half an hour drive to the border. At the two borders is where we do the passport formalities, yellow fever vaccination cards are a requirement to enter Senegal. From the border to the park is about 15 minutes drive. We will go on a minimum of two hour safari in the park with an opportunity of seeing different species of wildlife including Rhino, Giraffe and many more. After safari we have lunch in one of the local Gambian restaurants before we join the ferry back home.
7 COCKTAIL TOUR
FULL DAY TOUR.
A visit to the crocodile pool to see the museum,the big tree and strokes a living crocodile take photos.
A stop at the biggest town in the Gambia SERREKUNDA to visit the market.
We stop at the livestock mark in abuko and proceed to the biggest wood craft market in the second largest town Brikama. We will stop at one of the local school for you to see the educational system in the Gambia.
Gifts are welcome on this tour to the school ,books pens and pencils can be a very good gifts.
We drive off the road to see the local villages to have an idea of how Gambian lives as families and have a good taste of the Gambia.
Lunch break at the paradise beach and relaxing time.
In the evening we drive to the biggest fishing point at TANJI VILLAGE to see the fishing boats coming . You will see how the local people preserved the fish by smoking and sun drying. From TANJI is back home to your residence.
8 JANJANBUREH
TWO DAYS YOUR
An early morning pickup from you hotel .
Arrive through the south to cross through the new Senegambia bridge to the biggest town on the north bank FARAFFENI town.
We have a stop and a tour around the market.
We drive to go see the wassu stone circle which is recognised by UNESCO in the world Heritage Site list.
The river trip to go and look for the chimpanzees, hippos, baboons and many species of birds. A night stop at a camp.
One is back to basic, no electricity and the other one with electricity and fan.
The next morning we walk in the city of JANJANBUREH and visit the kankurang museum.
We will do a village stop on the way home for you to see what village life is like in the Gambia.
