If you take a day trip with me in the Serrakunda area this is a nice place to stop for a rest. I can also organize a canoe trip form here or even a whole day on the 'lazy boat' (see pics).

Nature reserve at the South end of the Senegambia Area. You will see Vervet monkeys, and if you are lucky Red Colobus monkeys. There are monitor lizards and lots of birds too.
