In PNG it is estimated that almost 7000 cultural groups with its own tradition but so far 850 different language was discovered in PNG.
It would be my pleasure to introduce you my immediate family with our traditional costume in the upper highlands called chimbu.in a little district called sinesine.but all throughout chimbu it is the way we dressed especially for special occasions..etc.
So the headdress is the most important symbol to beautify the nature of our identity .
The black long furthers are taken off from the Kumul birds.plus all the other wild birds in our specific location that contributed to our unique way of dressing.
We also have a tourism site called Mt. William. It is the highest mountain in PNG and its full of unique plants ..it has its own adventures to discover. So come check out (Chimbu province)

Welcome to our new page Track and Trails PNG, where we aim to be the connection between the walker and adventurer and the local track tour guides.

The idea originated between tour guide Jackson from tour with Jackson at the Kokoda track and Leeanne Hurren from Hurren Family Digital to be able to increase Jackson's social media presence with the hope of spreading the word about Jackson's tours.

The idea had its own limitations such as "How does an Australian Woman living in Sydney who is not fit enough to participate in the Kokoda track actually adequately promote an experience from all the way in Australia????

This is where David Gene became a part of the project. David has experience in digital marketing and has offered his time and expertise in the area of capturing photos and stories to share with the viewers.

So what do we all acheive from this experience? Early days: A sense of achievement that we are spreading the word that this service is available. Stay tuned as we share the stories of the past, stories of the now as we explore Kokoda and other areas of PNG.
