This beautiful complex lies in the south of Corfu, with everything at your finger tips, how do I know? I worked in this hotel, with it's amazing staff for 10 years. There are 2 huge pools, cocktails at the bar on the beach, dining Al fresco.
It is slightly isolated with a 30 minute walk to the resort of Kavos (5 mins in a taxi) and 30 minute walk to Lefkimmi to the beautiful river. If you hire a car, it is very simple to get around the south with one main road and then turning left or right for stunning unspoilt beaches nearby. Corfu's Old Town.
Very close to town are the east coast resorts of Gouvia, Perama, and a few others or actually stay in the town itself for those of you who are not lovers of beaches. You can still bathe in the sea underneath the old fortress, but for entertainment, bars, restaurants, culture, walking tours with guides, culinary walking tours, Corfu old town is fabulous and a must visit on a day trip anyway

Corfu's Best of the West:
I have to admit, that the north west coast has rather stunning views,
probably the most wow ones on the island, resorts such as Agios Gordios, St George north, Arillas, Palaiocastritsa and many more have an abundance of different types of accommodation aswell, so you are spoilt for choice.
Some cliff hotels and apartments with the most amazing views and sunsets on the west coast, may, however have too many steps/steep hills down to the beach, this is where we come in as resort experts,

I love the south for it's easy access to many beaches on the east or west coast but literally 10 minutes drive away from each other.
The east coast beaches are pebbly with warm shallow waters and the west coast wider, sandy beaches.
The local tavernas, in abundance, still cooking up some magic in the kitchen (an old tradition in Corfu, and in many places in Greece, is to ask to go into the kitchen and have a look at what is actually cooking and then decide what to eat. So much better than a menu!
In every resort you can book a small and friendly self catering apartment, or magnificent 5 star accommodation like the Angsana just outside Benitses, or a private villa. Whatever tickles your fancy
A personal favourite of mine for families is the Capo Di Corfu
It's flat everywhere, the 2 pools are almost on the beach, with kids club, kids disco, sports and shows, the children are safe and entertained so mums and dads can relax.......phew!
