Thanos is one of my favorite hosts. He is very communicative and attentive to details, answers any question, is always ready to help you.
The villa we stayed in is gorgeous, we had privacy and it was an oasis of tranquility, relaxation and cooling in the breaks between the sessions to explore the island."

Wow ! Wow ! Wow
Just don't know where to start.
From the minute that we arrived everything was perfect.
Thanos was by far the best host that we have ever had.
The swimming pool was the cleanest and best maintained that we have ever come across on our travels.
Can not believe how quickly Thanos responded to an issue with leaking washing machine with brand new one delivered and fitted within 12 hours.
We where in Crete for our friends daughters wedding and asked Thanos for recommendations for local hairdresser.
He told us most where closed on Mondays but went above and beyond to find one in Heraklion , booked appointment and arranged a taxi to take us.
Can not recommend this villa highly enough.
Outstanding!!

We loved our stay at Stratos Palace. It was super spacious, private and exactly as described. Thanos was enthusiastically helpful, welcoming and could not have done more for us. The swimming pool was a highlight, so clean and a lovely area to relax. The large balcony with comfy chairs and lovely cool breeze, with a view of the olive groves, was a great place for evening relaxation. As others have said, you really need a car to explore the area and get to the beach and sightseeing spots. We loved Karteros beach nearby and loved the local tavernas.
We highly recommend booking Thanos' place!"

The home and the pool were spotlessly clean. Thanos responded immediately to any need. Although the weather was very hot, the air conditioning kept the house cool. Each bedroom had its own air conditioner, so they could be set to different temperatures as the occupants desired. Quiet location, but beaches and restaurants within 5-10 minutes by car. Rental car highly advised."

Our 8 night stay at Stratos Palace was brilliant from start to finish. The villa was well equipped, good aircon and plenty of space over two floors (the lower floor next to the pool is for the owner's storage and not accessible). Thanos is such a great guy and was extremely helpful throughout our stay. Great communication from start, met us when we arrived, spent time explaining the villa, the pool, the alarm and gave great recommendations of places to visit. He even arrived on our last day to say goodbye. Excellent service! He even bought a brand new large TV and replaced it within 2 hours, when we had an issue with the screen.
The villa is very close to great places to visit (you definitely need to hire a car, but the cost is very reasonable). It was 7 mins to the closest beach (Karteros). 7 mins to the waterpark (Water City), we went there twice it was so much fun.
We absolutely loved the private pool (very clean!). Overall, we had an excellent stay and would stay again!"
