The entrance of the stadium in the ancient Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games.
The first official games took place in 776 BC and since then they were established every four years.

Women were not allowed to enter. However there was a woman named Kallipatira (Καλλιπάτειρα) that wanted to see her son and managed to watch the games dressed up like a man. She was revealed due to her excitement but wasn’t punished as she had many Olympic winners in her family.
