..Villa Lithia is located near to the village of Ano Korakiana, 16km from Corfu town in the unspoiled countryside, in the heart of Corfu, with views to the mountains and traditional villages.

Ano Korakiana is a beautiful and traditional Corfiot village built at the foot of the mountains Korentis and Korakio from which it got its name.The village was first inhabited during the medieval times and today it maintains many traditions of that time. Ano Korakiana was mainly populated by noble families who still give a dynamic presence with the well-preserved houses and the fine details from the 18th century.
The village flourished economically during the British occupation where the majority of the local residents worked in trade contributing to the cultural development of the region. Today, 900 people live permanently in Ano Korakiana. The terrain is natural and rough with narrow paved streets, surrounded by emerald trees and a couple of simple tavernas.
The village is known for the considerable number of churches it has, 37 in total, its long a tradition of choral music but, also the famous Philharmonic Society «Spyros Samaras». Interestingly, Ano Korakiana is the place of birth of Ioannis Kapodistrias, the first Governor of Greece.

Ano Korakiana keeps a great balance between a rich spiritual life and the natural environment overlooking the island's eastern side filled with olive tree forrests and fruit orchards. Just over 1km southeast is the village of Kato Korakiana and 3 km away are the beaches of Ipsos and Barbati.
