Psili Ammos

On the southeast coast of the island, located 9 kilometers south of the capital, lies a small beach (about 200 meters long) with very fine sand, hence its name (psili ammos is for fine sand). It has very shallow clear waters and is very well protected from the wind. It is noteworthy that this point marks the closest distance between and , of only 1,200 meters. It is organized and has umbrellas and sunbeds. It is ideal for beach games (beach tennis, soccer) and suitable for children. Ολοκληρώθηκε το ντοκιμαντέρ με τίτλο “PEOPLE OF ” (Άνθρωποι της Ικαρίας) του διακεκριμένου Ιταλού σκηνοθέτη εθνικών και διεθνών παραγωγών στην ιταλική τηλεόραση, Andrea Rovetta , ο οποίος φιλοξενήθηκε στην Ικαρία από την ΠΒΑ τον περασμένο Οκτώβριο, προκειμένου να πραγματοποιήσει τα γυρίσματα. Το ντοκιμαντέρ αποτελεί το τρίτο της σειράς ανθρωποκεντρικών ντοκιμαντέρ μετά το «Άνθρωποι των Σφακίων» και «Άνθρωποι του Μεσολογγίου» που προβάλλονται από την ιταλική τηλεόραση.
Το ντοκιμαντέρ προβάλει μέσω των κατοίκων του νησιού τον μοναδικό τους χαρακτήρα, την αγάπη τους για τη μουσική και τον χορό, τον τόπο, τις ομορφιές, και την ιστορία της Ικαρίας και θα μεταδοθεί από τη 1 και την !
