They are currently running workshops, organizing an art residency and bringing together researchers and practitioners in quaint Thirasia, just a stone's throw away from Santorini.

Boulouki is a collaborative that researches, teaches and practices traditional building techniques and materials.
Researchers, masons, advisors, artists and volunteers have been working tirelessly, in order to understand, analyze, preserve and transfer the valuable knowledge & skills of the past into the 21st century.
Thirasia, Santorini's fascinating and enigmatic neighbor, is lucky to have them! There, they will be delving into the use of volcanic materials under the guidance of expert masons. This much need initiative was just launched with a cleanup of the cobblestone path of the abandoned cave settlement of Agrilia.
We really hope they visit Santorini next! We could surely use their expertise on some of our paths.

Aegean Classics is a beautiful annual festival in Santorini celebrating island life. And a unique opportunity to explore the caldera from a different angle. It was dearly missed in 2020, and we cannot wait to have it back this year.

If Mars was a place on Earth it would surely be Santorini, but the volcanic landscapes you see here are the next best thing! And if the red planet was a beach, that would definitely be the infamous red beach.

Keep in mind this is an area prone to rockslides so it is best to sea kayak, SUP or sail by it.

It has been a very long and stressful time, but things are returning to some normality. Siga-siga (slowly but steadily), as one of our favorite mottos goes.

The covid blues got the best of us, and we totally forgot to share some great news with you.
Our 'Santorini Wanderlust' was named a finalist for Best Europe Tourism Project in the British Guild of Travel Writers’ Tourism Awards 2020.
As Heidi Fuller Love put it "This is a much-needed initiative taking visitors away from the over-tourist-ed sites and introducing them to a mega-slice of real Santorini lifestyle via an adventurous hike into the heart of this volcanic atoll where few visitors ever get to go."

Finalist for Best Europe Tourism Project in the prestigious BGTW International Tourism Awards: Santorini Walking Tours – Greece. A super initiative to introduce the lesser known parts of this beautiful island to visitors.

Restrictions have been partially lifted, and we - at last - went for a walk in Oia. Wonderful as always, although eerie with virtually no people around!
Thankfully we had some company while enjoying the sunset, but our presence there did raise at least one eyebrow as you can see...
