Μεσημεριάτικη ησυχία στο Γκάζι, ανάμεσα στις νεόδμητες αφαιρετικές με γυμνά μπετόν πολυκατοικίες διασώζεται κάτι απ' το Γκαζοχώρι του άλλοτε, ίσως την πιο ταπεινή γειτονιά του τότε κέντρου. Οι καμινάδες του εργοστασίου φωταερίου βγάζανε κάπνες γερές, κάνανε τον τόπο ακατάλληλο για κατοίκηση και έτσι οι πιο φτωχοί βρίσκανε εκεί σπιτικά να ζήσουν, με ισχυρότερη παρουσία αυτή των Πομάκων εσωτερικών μεταναστών απ' την Θράκη. Ψήγματα αυτού του κόσμου παρόντα σήμερα, οι παντόφλες στα έξω να μη λερώσουν το έσω σαλόνι οντά, ο κουβάς για τα νερά να παστρέψουν τ' απογεύματα την σκόνη του δρόμου. Κι η αθηναϊκή νεραντζιά να δίνει το χρώμα στην σοβατισμένη ολόλευκη όψη.

Freud visited Greece for the first and only time more than a century ago. When he reached the top of the Acropolis hill, he experienced feelings of astonishment and disbelief that puzzled him for decades. This stunning image by the Swiss photographer Fred Boissonnas documents how the monument looked like around that time.

The Erechtheion is an ancient temple constructed on the acropolis of between 421 and 406 BCE in the Golden Age of the city in order to house the ancient wooden cult statue of Athena and generally glorify the great city at the height of its power and influence.!!

Ένα απίστευτο θέαμα αντίκρισαν οι επισκέπτες των Τεμπών το απόγευμα της Κυριακής όταν εμφανίστηκε στον αέρα μια γυναίκα με το πιάνο της αφήνοντάς τους με το στόμα ανοιχτό!
Το πιάνο αιωρούνταν στην κοιλάδα των Τεμπών κρεμασμένο από τεράστια μπαλόνια δημιουργώντας μια εξωπραγματική ατμόσφαιρα για τα ελληνικά δεδομένα.
Το πανέμορφο αυτό θέαμα ήταν μια ιδέα του σκηνοθέτη Πασχάλη Μάντη και της πιανίστριας του μουσείου της Ακρόπολης Έλενας Ξυδιά.
