-after her husband failed to sacrifice a cow to Poseidon (a great offence to the god), he cursed her to fall in love with one of his finest bulls, later mating with him (hidden in a hollow cow-like structure built by Daedalus) and resulting in the birth of the famous Minotaur (or less known as Asterios/the Starry One). Both him and the bull with whom Pasiphae mated, were associated with the constellation of Ta**us.
