Driving to Corfu? Well read about the whole process here

So you want to drive to Corfu? No problems...

Thanks to Martin Bell for his words on another forum of his drive across Europe and taking special care to avoid bringing covid to Corfu unlike others as you will read 👍🏼🇬🇷💕

Good afternoon thought I would inform travellers coming to Corfu what I experienced in my journey. Currently I am writing from the ferry on my way from igounomitsa to Corfu.
So I drove though France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany,Switzerland, San Marino and finally Italy.
At no point was I challenged or had to show my passport other than the tunnel, but what has driven me to write this is the sheer farce I witnessed entering Greece today.
After filling in my forms both manual and electronic, I showed the guy at the port and was waved across to the “ left “ to get Covid tested.
I parked up and quickly realised there was an outside centre with two people doing the admin and One ! Person doing the tests .
So what am I complaining about, well my wife and I witnessed at least 10 people join the queue then get fed up and just drive on out of the port with no one challenging anyone.
My wife and I did our tests as responsible people ( even though I had one done in the uk 10 days ago) but was infuriated to see people just driving out.
Trust me if you want to arrive and not get tested just drive out with the rest of the People it’s as simple as that so all this rubbish your reading about people from certain countries getting tested it’s as simple as “ if you want to pull over “ then you get tested .
We challenged the staff and pointed to what was happening the admin girl shrugged her shoulders and said “ nothing they could do “
Well rant over I wait my test results and we will stay in our house for 7 days ( voluntarily) to make sure we don’t bring this terrible virus to this beautiful island !

Running Corfu Tourist and having driven to Corfu using different routes over the past 5 years and we get asked for lots of information about the cost, routes, ferries etc so even though we have experience there are people out there with more experience than us and we wanted to create a central information point and community page so that everyone can share information on this topic.
