Οι Τούρκοι εισβάλλουν στην Κύπρο.
Με αφορμή την συμπλήρωση 50 χρόνων κατοχής πλέον, ορίστε ένα ποίημά μου.

Σαλαμίνα.
Ναι, έτσι κάποτε σε λέγανε.
Θυμάσαι;
Ή να 'χεις άραγε ξεχάσει;

Σαν γνήσιοι Έλληνες εμείς,
το όνομα σ' αλλάξαμε,
κι ακόμη κι από Αμμόχωστο,
σε λέμε Φαμαγκούστα....

Ήταν το δόλωμα καλό
εκείνου του Ιάγου,
κι ηλίθιοι ήμασταν εμείς
σαν τον Οθέλλο...

Γι' αυτό κι εγώ,
τα ονόματά σου τα παλιά,
να σου θυμίσω θέλω.
Εγώ που .

Γιατί χειρότεροι από τους αγνοούμενους
είναι εντέλει οι αγνοούντες.

'Local businesses are closing, such as the shop of a person that repairs shoes or clothes, in favour of course of more restaurants and more cafes, all made to suit the 'multicultural' taste of tourists, who at the end of day clearly have no interest in experiencing anything related to Greece, since they are the ones filling the chinese, indian, vietnamese etc. restaurants, some of which we never had in Athens before the boom of tourism.'

This has got to be one of the most absurd (not to say hideous) things I've heard this year.

Right now, Greece has 169 new cases and the UK has nearly 2,500 (!!?)
They should be in quarantine when they ARRIVE in Greece, not after they leave...😅
