Last day today.

Our last stop was Vidos island, off the coast of Corfu town.

That place holds part of my life.

My best friend lived here when we were young.

Her family had a wild life rescue centre and helped many birds of prey and even once an otter from horrible, usually human induced, injuries.

I spent many of my summers on this island and many of my weekends.

We waited once for midnight to see the Ghosts of the Serbian cemetery. I learned horse riding, swimming, climbing and playing as a free spirit.

Today we ended our first ever Eco Adventure here. I could not have imagined any beter place.

My crew, Brian, cut my hair. This is what it looks like after a Lovely dive in the Ionian sea. ⛵🌊

We have many stories to share. And if enough sign up and want to join an adventure, we will do this again!!!!

Happy World Environment Day!

Today we did a small cleanup at the beach of the wetland Vagia.

We arrived and saw that a loggerhead sea turtle had made her first nest of the season!!!!

So yeah, we cleaned up all around the nest and as far as we could 💕

Fiskardo, Kefalonia.

Slowly the little harbour is waking.

Far away you can hear the slow rhythmic motor of a fishing boat and the seagulls that follow it for an easy meal.

Today the wind is picking up early although not enough to sail to our next destination: Sami. We will dock for lunch there and visit the cave of Melisani.

As our clients are leaving in Zakynthos on Saturday evening, our schedule has changed a little bit. We will sail in the afternoon to Poros, as south as possible to reduce the distance we need to sail on Saturday.

We hope that the midday wind will pick up in the Ithaca channel and give us a nice and strong sail from Sami to Poros.

Sea turtles have started nesting on their protected sandy beaches in Greece!

Our first tour took us to places with so many stories 💕

We had rain, we had wind, we had sunshine and swims.

We had meetings with friends, parties and drinks.

We explored by sea, on foot and on a bike, we even kayaked.

We sang in an ancient odeon in Nikopolis and took in the silence of the Nekromanteion.

Χριστός Ανέστη!

Today is Greek Easter 🐣 For the past week Corfu has been full of life, music, sadness and happiness.

Something I love of Easter and the story is how we can hold with the same space both heavy grief and extreme hope and happiness.

This is a day of family. We have our own traditions as a family, build up year by year. We have friends over, we eat delicious food prepared with love and care. And we are all waiting for the food to be eaten, to have my mother's qwark taart.

This year the weather is rainy and cold, so the fireplace is on and the table is set inside and that is a bit different than other years.

However, a small tradition that my sister started last year was held once more! We collected edible flowers for the qwark taart 🌼🌸

In the photo they hug a red egg.

The red eggs are a Greek tradition on Easter. We crack them with a very specific way and the one says : "Christos Anesti" and the other says "Alithos Anesti"

The red symbolises the blood of Christ spilled and the white inside the hope and life from his resurrection.

Make new and exciting memories!

Our Sea Turtle Conservation Tour departs from Zakynthos and arrives in Lefkada.

Our journey brings us to the breeding beaches of Loggerhead sea turtles - Caretta caretta and to the picturesque island Ithaca where we will dive an explore.

We will meet locals working on a project to bring drnking water to Kalamos islands and on Lefkada we will do some local wine tasting!
