Aegina in winter is an excellent destination for religious tourism. The Church of Faneromeniis is located in a catacomb and dates back to the 13th century.
Bonus Tip: inside one of the chapels you will find a passage that leads to a small cave.

Christmas events start today in Aegina and will last until 1st of January. Several events for children will take place in Santa's village in the tower of Marcellus!

On the beach of Aegina, with a starting point of the Old Pier, it will take place today the holiday event: Aegina Christmas Run. Dozens of children will participate with red hats and run a mile in Aegina.

Στην παραλία της Αίγινας, με σημείο εκκίνησης την Παλαιά Προβλήτα, θα γίνει σήμερα το γιορτινό δρομικό event με την επωνυμία Aegina Christmas Run. Σε αυτόν συμμετέχουν δεκάδες παιδάκια που φορώντας κόκκινους σκούφους τρέχουν μία απόσταση ενός χιλιομέτρου στην παραλία της Αίγινας.

Also in the central temple of Aegina, it is organized a brilliant celebration.
