Σε ακραία υψηλά επίπεδα η θερμοκρασία της επιφάνειας της θάλασσας στην Ανατολική Μεσόγειο

Παράλληλα με τις ακραία υψηλές τιμές θερμοκρασίας του αέρα που παρατηρούνται στη χώρα μας, και η θερμοκρασία στην επιφάνεια της θαλάσσας βρίσκεται σε πρωτοφανή για την εποχή υψηλά επίπεδα. Ήδη σε περιοχές του Νοτίου Ιονίου και των Δωδεκανήσων παρατηρούνται τιμές άνω των 20 °C στα πρώτα 10 εκ βάθος στην επιφάνεια της θάλασσας.

Ο παρακάτω χάρτης δείχνει τις αποκλίσεις της θερμοκρασίας στην επιφάνεια της θάλασσας τη Δευτέρα 15 Απριλίου 2024, σε σχέση με την περίοδο 2008-2023. Οι μεγαλύτερες αποκλίσεις εντοπίζονται στο Βόρειο Αιγαίο όπου ξεπερνούν τοπικά και τους 5 °C.
