As part of the implementation of the QNeST PLUS-Quality Network on Sustainable Tourism project, you are invited to participate in a webinar with the aim of demonstrating tourist routes in Xanthi, Arta, and Thesprotia, which will contribute to the promotion of the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of the Adriatic-Ionian regions, and to the promotion of products and services related to the Mediterranean diet (olive oil, fish, wines).
During the online seminar, you will share experiences, knowledge and exchange views on promoting quality sustainable tourism.

The Laboratory of Knowledge & Intelligent Computing participated in the international conference «OPEN DAY QNeST PLUS Project and Quality Cultural Routes for Sustainable Tourism in Adriatic and Ionian regions», which took place in Lecce (Italy) from the 10th to the 11th of June, 2022. Members of the KIC-Lab presented the innovative application of QNeST PLUS. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Anna Trono, while local stakeholders and partners discussed the promotion of high-quality sustainable tourism. The participants visited also archaeological sites, monuments, and places of particular cultural, natural, and symbolic importance. They also lived the experience of the unique agricultural landscape of the area, the drystone routes, and the centenarian olive groves.

As part of the implementation of the QNeST PLUS-Quality Network on Sustainable Tourism project, a webinar will be organized with the aim of demonstrating digital tools and information web platform developed by the project team, which will contribute to the promotion of the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of the Adriatic-Ionian regions, to the promotion of products and services related to the Mediterranean diet (olive oil, fish, wines) and in the joint planning of tourist routes.
During the online seminar, the participants will share experiences and knowledge and exchange views on promoting quality sustainable tourism.

On Wednesday, 11 May 2022, the QNEST Plus Round Table will take place online. The Round Table of the project aimed to introduce the concept of cultural routes and itineraries, understood as an innovative tool with which to promote quality sustainable tourism in certain regions of the Adriatic-Ionian area, specifically in Croatia, Greece, Italy, Montenegro, and Slovenia.

During the thematic seminar on Good Practices for the Digitization of Natural and Cultural Heritage as measures against the pandemic carried out in the framework of the project "Collaborative Digitization of Natural and Cultural Heritage, CD ETA INTERREG EUROPE", UoI-KIC-LAB has presented the innovative digital tools for QNeST PLUS project and how they can be used to stimulate tourism while emphasizing the importance of using thematic routes to improve sustainable tourism.
